No Place Like Home

I've been exploring how my life in America has influenced my identity as a Korean. When I was young, my family would have dinner time together, watching Korean shows like "High Kick" with our antique dining table. My time with Korean-speaking family and friends were cut short as we moved from area to area, never finding a place to truly find home in. The lost of connection has never been this strong as the Asian American experience continues to overpower my familiarity with my culture. 12.16.22
